The ZipTMPole is our new low-cost spring-loaded pole designed for commercial and residential contractors, as well as the DIY enthusiast. About half the cost of our aluminum poles, the ZipTMPole is strong, lightweight and compact. Its 10’ height is tall enough for many jobs, yet when collapsed, the ZipTMPole will easily fit in the trunk of a car. Like our Contractor Grade aluminum spring-loaded poles, the ZipTMPole eliminates the need for tape, ladders or staples, so it will not damage finished surfaces.
Consider the labor savings of a ZipWall® dust barrier system: A 30 foot long 9 foot high barrier takes about 1 hour to erect using conventional methods. With the ZipTMPole system, the same barrier can be completed by one person in under 5 minutes.
The ZipTMPole offers all the advantages of our Contractor Grade products. The twist-locking telescoping pole lets you raise the sheeting to the ceiling without a ladder. The exclusive spring-loaded mechanism at the top lets you lift the pole to tuck the sheeting under the foot while keeping the barrier under tension at all times.
ZipTMPoles are made of rugged steel tubing. They have a baked-on finish and weigh just 1.5lbs each. Ideal for many uses, they can accept plastic or cloth sheeting up to 8 mils thick and can support up to 80 lbs each. ZipTMPole height ranges from 4’ 2” to 10’ 3”. Poles should be placed every 8' to 10' or closer if there is a lot of air movement. Use a GripDiskTM under each pole to secure it on smooth flooring like vinyl or wood.
ZipTMPoles work with all of our Tight-Seal™ accessories. Push the plastic sheeting tightly against the ceiling by adding Foam RailsTM. You can also seal tightly along the walls by adding our Side PackTM.
