Specifications:
Bulkhead door to basement shall be Bilco Ultra Series size C [and 6" (15.2 cm) or 12" (30.5 cm) extension, if required]. Door panels shall be constructed of high-density polyethylene and have a wood design and texture molded into the panels. Hardware shall have a polyester powder coated finish and all fasteners shall be zinc-plated and chromate sealed for corrosion resistance. Basement door sill strip shall be constructed of extruded aluminum and an EPDM rubber header gasket shall be supplied for weathertightness. Door panels shall be equipped with gas spring lift assistance for easy, one-hand operation and a slide bolt locking mechanism for areaway security. Manufacturer shall supply a ten-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Installation shall be in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. |
